| Mr. John Blascos is Board Member at Oman Liquefied Natural Gas. Mr. John Blascos joined Shell Expro in 1983 as a Wellsite Petroleum Engineer. He moved to Algeria a year later to take up the position of Drilling Operations Engineer before joining Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) to work as a Drilling Operations Engineer in 1985. John then moved to take up the responsibility of a production technologist Government Gas and Bahja Rima area –PDO, from 1987 to 1990. In 1990 he returned to Shell Expro for two years, after which he moved to Shell Nigeria to head production technology. From 1995 up to 1999 John took up the position of Senior Manager Production Opportunities in Sarawak Shell Berhad. He then held various senior positions between 1999 up to 2009 in Shell Exploration and Production International working in a number of Middle Eastern countries such as Egypt, Iran, and Oman. In 2005 John was appointed as Vice President New Business Commercial in Shell International in The Hague. Mr. Blascos has an MA Engineering degree from Cambridge University and MBA from Brunel University. |
