In 1987, he left WTS Konsultant Sdn Bhd and in the same year joined Biwater Shellabear (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (now known as Biwater (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd), which undertakes water and wastewater treatment plants projects as a Sub-Area Commercial Manager and was tasked with managing the commercial aspects of projects undertaken by the company. He subsequently left Biwater Shellabear (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in 1993 to join CMS Works Sdn Bhd (now known as Cahya Mata Roads Sdn Bhd), which activities include general construction and specialist infrastructure projects, a subsidiary of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad, as Head of the Contract Management Department, a position he held until his retirement in 2018. His job scope included dealing with contract procurement, management and administration, as well as the ISO certification process for the company. In 1996, she temporarily served as a Senior Manager (Administration & Finance) of STIDC, before returning to the position of Senior Accountant in the same year.
