du opens two new data centres to boost digital transformation

Dubai – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has inaugurated two new data centres to provide next-generation digital infrastructure to companies across the UAE.

Kizad Abu Dhabi and DSO Dubai are in line with du’s objective to extend their digital services and infrastructure among local businesses to manage their workloads, according to a press release on Wednesday.

The facilities have been equipped with the latest power and cooling management technologies to ensure efficiencies and resilience.

The CEO at du, Fahad Al Hassawi, said: "As digital transformation continues to accelerate exponentially, those we serve require cutting-edge capabilities and infrastructure to realise their aspirations and deliver on their commitments to customers."

Al Hassawi added: "The unveiling of Kizad Abu Dhabi and DSO Dubai is the latest representation of our enduring determination not only to drive innovation, but also provide enterprises with the tools they need to build comprehensive digital platforms crucial to present and future business success."
