Riyadh – Mubasher: Mobile Telecommunication Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) reported a 17.69% decline in net profits after Zakat and tax to SAR 214 million in 2021, compared to SAR 260 million in 2020, as shown by the company's consolidated financials for the year ended 31 December 2021.
The company's revenues went down to SAR 7.901 billion in 2021 from SAR 7.917 billion in 2020.
The earnings per share (EPS) settled at SAR 0.238 in 2021, compared to SAR 0.379 in the earlier year.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the telecom operator posted lower profits by 36% year-on-year (YoY) at SAR 143 million from SAR 224 million.
