Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) will join the FTSE UAE Small Cap Index effective on 20 December 2021.
As part of its inclusion in the index, Yahsat will also be added to several indices, including the FTSE Global Small Cap Index, FTSE Global All Cap Index, FTSE Middle East & Africa Small Cap Index, and FTSE Middle East & Africa All Cap Index, according to a press release on Sunday.
This step came following the company’s recent inclusion in the MSCI Small Cap Indices from 1 December 2021.
The Group CEO at Yahsat, Ali Al Hashemi, commented: "It marks another important milestone in our commitment to deliver long-term value for our shareholders, while in parallel strengthening Abu Dhabi’s position as an attractive destination for investors."
