Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of Al Yah Satellite Communications Company (Yahsat) has approved a cash dividend distribution of 7.9 fils per share for the second half (H2) of 2021.
The dividend payout aggregates at a total value of AED 192.74 million, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.
Hence, the full-year dividends amount to AED 385.54 million, representing a payout of 15.8% of the nominal value.
The last entitlement date was set on 19 April 2022, while the ex-dividend date was scheduled on 20 April 2022.
It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the net profits attributable to the shareholders of Yahsat increased to $69.76 million from $68.90 million in 2020.
