Kuwait – Mubasher: Warba Bank said it is still completing the procedures required for issuing sukuk, which will be offered in Kuwait and arranged by nine banks.
The bank still needs the approval of the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) as well as the prospectus to issue the $250 million worth Islamic sukuk which will be used to endorse Warba Bank’s reserves, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
