Waja to hold OGM for voting on newly created seats membership

Riyadh — Mubasher: Waja Company has invited its shareholders to participate in the Ordinary General Assembly meeting (OGM) which is scheduled for 8 October 2026 at 18:30, according to a bourse filing.

The meeting will be conducted via modern technology from the company’s headquarters in Riyadh to address key governance updates and board appointments.

The primary agenda item is the vote to elect three members to newly created seats on the board of directors.

Meanwhile, the selected candidates will serve from the date of assembly approval until the conclusion of the current board cycle on 23 March 2028.

According to Article 35 of the company’s bylaws, the meeting requires a quorum of shareholders representing at least half of the voting shares. If this threshold is not met, a second meeting will be held one hour after the initial session and will be considered valid regardless of the number of shares represented.

Electronic voting for registered shareholders on the Tadawulaty platform is scheduled at 1:00 on 4 October 2026 and will remain open until the end of the assembly session.

Eligibility for attendance and voting is restricted to shareholders registered at the Securities Depository Center by the close of trading preceding the meeting.
