Mubasher: The US dollar rose on Thursday amid anticipation for upcoming data in the US, including economic growth and the consumer confidence index, both of which are forecast to be on the rise.
The USD-EUR pair gained 0.21% to $1.0436 by 8:00am GMT, while the USD-JPY increased 0.10% to 117.69 and USD-CHF edged up 0.06% to 1.0263.
The USD also added 0.06% against the GBP, reaching 1.2361.
