Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian pound exchange rate grew against the US dollar at some Egyptian banks on Thursday.
The USD rate inched down EGP 0.03 to EGP 17.08 for buying and EGP 17.15 for selling at National Bank of Egypt (NBE) and Arab African International Bank (AAIB).
The USD rate also slipped by 3 piasters at Bank of Alexandria, Credit Agricole, and Suez Canal Bank (SCB), recording EGP 17.8 for buying and EGP 17.18 for selling.
Meanwhile, the rate of the US currency increased by 4 piasters at Commercial International Bank (CIB), reaching EGP 17.12 for buying and EGP 17.22 for selling.
