UAE stock shows varied performance on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session lower by 16.64 points (0.41%) at 4,050.64 points.

DFM’s trading value stood at AED 328.40 million through the exchange of 93.34 million shares.

Emirates NBD posted the highest turnover of AED 108.45 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock with 11.46 million shares.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) led the gainers with 11.11%, whereas Aramex headed the losers with 3.27%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) edged up by 0.423% to 9,796.39 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.07 billion through the exchange of 219.66 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.85 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 216.09 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 28.32 million shares.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) topped the risers with 3.05%, while Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement)led the fallers with 6.94%.
