UAE stock markets witness mixed performance on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 0.65 points (0.01%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 4,169.08 points.

The turnover hit AED 653.81 million through the exchange of 202.63 million shares.

Emirates NBD recorded the highest turnover of AED 130.25 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 18 million shares.

National International Holding topped the risers with 14.40%, while Takaful Emarat headed the fallers with 9.97%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the session lower by 0.11% at 9,508.32 points.

A total of 186.38 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.01 billion, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.90 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 208.65 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 36.86 million shares.

Fujairah Cement Industries Company led the gainers with 5.63%, whereas Union Insurance Company headed the fallers with 3.38%.
