UAE stock markets show negative performance on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 59.08 points (1.53%) on Thursday and ended the trading session at 3.782.04 points.

The turnover hit AED 326.55 million through the exchange of 118.98 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 83.13 million, while Union Properties was the most active stock with 19.22 million shares.

Union Coop led the risers with 1.27%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) headed the fallers with 8.03%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session lower by 0.887% at 9,242.18 points.

A total of 180.15 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.06 billion, while the market cap value hit AED 2.75 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 230.34 million, whereas Borouge dominated trading volume with 23.64 million shares.

Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company advanced the gainers with 9.98%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials was the top faller with 6.62%.
