UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have resumed the upward performance by the end of Wednesday's trading session.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.34% to close Wednesday's session at 2,547.34 points.
A total of 80.29 million shares were traded through 2,419 transactions valued at AED 151.08 million.
Ekttitab Holding headed the rising stocks with 6.25%, while Emirates Refreshments topped the losing stocks with 9.94%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up by around 0.42% to settle at 5,606.81 points by the end of Wednesday.
Turnover amounted to AED 890.73 million after 142.26 million shares had been exchanged through 3,300 transactions.
United Arab Bank (UAB) came on top of the green zone with 13.61%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (BILDCO) led the red zone with 9.55%.
