UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have maintained an upward performance by the end of Tuesday's trading session.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.23% to close Tuesday's trading session at 2,558.50 points.
A total of 97.28 million shares were exchanged through 2,573 transactions valued at AED 159.76 million.
The market cap value increased to AED 357.42 billion, compared to AED 356.49 billion during the previous session.
Amlak Finance topped the rising stocks with 4.45%, while Emirates Refreshments headed the losing stocks with 6.72%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by around 1.49% to settle at 5,910.65 points by the end of Tuesday's session.
Turnover has exceeded AED 1 billion after 173.36 million shares had been traded through 3,466 transactions.
The market cap value amounted to AED 845.78 billion, up from AED 830.79 billion during the previous session.
Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) topped the green zone with 13.99%, while National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah led the red zone with 7.5%.
