UAE stock markets fall on Wednesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 21.31 points (0.62%) on Wednesday to close the session at 3,388.75 points.

A total of 85.22 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 239.36 million.

National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) was the top riser with 2.15%, while Tecom Group led the fallers with 2.99%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest trading value of AED 86.90 million, while Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) was the most active stock on which 38.51 million shares were exchanged.

The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also declined by 0.163% to 10,048.87 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.15 billion through the trading of 182.60 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.29 trillion.

Aram Group headed the risers with 12.55%, while National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) was the top faller with 7.17%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest trading value of AED 295.44 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 32.65 million shares were exchanged.
