UAE stock markets fall on Tuesday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday’s session down at 4,051.19 points after losing 7.60 points (0.18%).

The market witnessed the trading of 298.02 million shares at a value of AED 539.19 million.

Shuaa Capital was the top faller with 7.40%, in addition to recording the biggest trading volume of 120.42 million shares.

Emirates Investment Bank advanced the risers with 11.21%, whereas Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) recorded the highest turnover of AED 201.94 million.

The benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed down by 0.41% at 9,807.19 points.

The trading value hit AED 1.23 billion after 287.53 million shares were exchanged, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.87 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the largest trading value of AED 206.41 million, while Q Holding was the most active stock with 37.52 million shares.

Union Insurance Company led the fallers with 10% and Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) headed the risers with 5.63%.
