UAE stock markets end Wednesday with varied note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s trading session higher at 3,310.33 points.

A total of 139.81 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 335.62 million.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 107.64 million, while Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower) witnessed the highest trading volume of 33.78 million shares.

Ithmaar Holding headed the risers with 6.20%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) led the fallers with 9.50%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.648% to 9,525.23 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.31 billion through the exchange of 213.48 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.67 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 289.43 million, while ADNOC Gas was the most active stock with 60.69 million exchanged shares.

Aram Group was the top riser with 9.88%, while Hayah Insurance Company led the fallers with 10%.
