UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session in the green zone.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.06% to settle at 2,839.14 points by the end of Wednesday.
A total of 150.87 million shares were exchanged through 3,170 transactions valued at AED 188.96 million.
Arabian Scandinavian Insurance (Ascana) headed the green zone with 5.99%, while Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Co (Aman) topped the red zone with 2.89%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.19% to close Wednesday at 6,626.23 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.4 billion after 124.78 million shares had been traded through 3,927 transactions.
Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Co (SCIDC) came on top of the rising stocks with 13.76%, while Ras Al Khaimah National Insurance Co (RAK Insurance) led the losing stocks with 10%.
