UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Wednesday's trading session on a positive note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up 0.49% to settle at 3,172.82 points by the end of Wednesday.
A total of 84.645 million shares were traded through 3,555 transactions valued at AED 234.417 million.
United Foods Co topped the green zone with 15%, while Gulf Navigation Holding led the red zone with 3.45%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up 0.05% to close Wednesday's session at 8,718.23 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 1.467 billion after 202.098 million shares had been exchanged through 6,266 transactions.
Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company headed the rising stocks with 7.63%, while Aram Group came on top of the losing stocks with 10%.
