UAE stock markets end Tuesday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Tuesday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.52% to settle at 3,568.83 points by the end of Tuesday's session.

A total of 631.96 million shares were traded through 16,482 transactions valued at AED 1.78 billion.

The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) led the rising stocks with 15.72%, while Emirates Refreshments topped the losing stocks with 9.74%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.69% to close Tuesday's session at 10,096.06 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.54 billion after 384.22 million shares had been exchanged through 11,355 transactions.

Easy Lease came on top of the green zone with 14.96%, while Fujairah Cement Industries (FCI) led the red zone with 9.96%.
