UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets closed Thursday's trading session on a positive note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 0.07% or 1.88 points to end Thursday's session at 2,633.48 points.
A total of 187.05 million shares were traded through 2,604 transactions valued at AED 165.95 million.
Oman Insurance Co (OIC) led the rising stocks with 7.69%, while Orascom Construction topped the losing stocks with 5%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index settled at 5,667.03 points, when compared to the previous session.
Turnover amounted to AED 986.86 million after 177.34 million shares had exchanged through 3,292 transactions.
Gulf Cement Co came on top of the green zone with 5.06%, while Reem Investments headed the red zone with 2.21%.
