UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have closed Sunday's trading session on a red note.
The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.77% to settle at 2,583.73 points by the end of Sunday's session.
A total of 56.54 million shares were traded through 1,504 transactions valued at AED 96.89 million.
Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) led the losing stocks with 10%, while Emirates REIT topped the rising stocks with 2.56%.
As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down by around 0.22% to close Sunday's session at 2,723.09 points.
Turnover amounted to AED 825.24 million after 137.26 million shares had been exchanged through 2,453 transactions.
Sudatel Telecom Group (SDTL) headed the red zone with 4.65%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) came on top of the green zone with 13.16%.
