UAE stock markets end Monday's session on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.39% to settle at 3,587.44 points by the end of Monday's session.

A total of 296.99 million shares were traded through 5,542 transactions valued at AED 633.78 million.

Gulf Navigation Holding led the rising stocks with 7.89%, while Orient UNB Takaful (OUTFL) came on top of the losing stocks with 21.50%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.33% to close Monday's session at 10,899 transactions.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.59 billion after 368.33 million shares had been exchanged through 10,899 transactions.

Emirates Insurance topped the green zone with 14.98%, while National Takaful Company (Watania) headed the red zone with 9.92%.
