UAE stock markets end Monday in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.61% to settle at 2,881.55 points by the end of Monday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.47 billion after 1.179 billion shares were traded through 5,279 transactions.

The Dubai Financial Market (DFM) led the rising stocks with 3.92%, while Al Firdous Holding topped the losing stocks with 9.83%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.76% to close Monday's session at 7,924.652 points.

A total of 459.536 million shares were exchanged through 11,483 transactions valued at AED 1.668 billion.

National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels headed the green zone with 12.35%, while Gulf Cement Company came on top of the red zone with 7.5%.
