UAE stock markets decline on Thursday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index DFMGI of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed lower by 25.04 points (0.61%) at 4,057.20 points on Thursday.

A total of 151.10 million shares were traded at a value of AED 309.03 million.

Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) led the fallers with 9.09%, while National General Insurance Company headed the risers with 8.13%.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 81.25 million, whereas Union Properties was the most active stock in terms of the volume with 56.53 million shares.

Similarly, the benchmark index FADGI of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed in the red zone, after falling by 0.57% to 9,591.89 points.

The trading value reached AED 1.08 billion through the exchange of 192.85 million shares. Meanwhile, the market cap value amounted to AED 2.76 trillion.

Aram Group was the top faller with 9.93%, while Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company topped the risers with 9.15%.

Multiply Group dominated the trading volume and value with 65.96 million shares and AED 255.92 million, respectively.
