UAE stock markets close Wednesday with varied performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session down by 30.55 points (0.90%) at 3,345.97 points.

A total of 76.86 million shares were traded at a value of AED 261.02 million.

Al Salam Bank topped the risers with 5.69%, whereas Al Firdous Holding led the fallers with 6.38%.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of trading volume and value with 18.16 million shares exchanged at AED 110.16 million.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.272% at 10,068.15 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.36 billion through the exchange of 226.84 million, while the market cap amounted to AED 2.31 trillion.

Chimera S&P KSA Shariah ETF headed the decliners with 2.97%, followed by First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) which retreated by 1.69%. Meanwhile, Q Holding advanced the gainers with 5.15%.

International Holding Company (IHC) registered the highest turnover of AED 282.67 million, whereas Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 47.70 million shares were traded.
