UAE stock markets close Wednesday's session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) rose by 2.03% to settle at 3,372.50 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 153.09 million shares were traded through 5,274 transactions valued at AED 301.27 million.

Islamic Arab Insurance Co (Salama) led the green zone with 14.92%, while National Cement Company (NCC) topped the red zone with 9.76%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 1.16% to close Wednesday's session at 9,590.85 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.63 billion after 210.32 million shares had been traded through 10,685 transactions.

Aram Group came on top of the rising stocks with 10.73%, while Easy Lease headed the losing stocks with 5.24%.
