UAE stock markets close Wednesday on positive note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 11.64 points (0.34%) on Wednesday to close at 3,361.20 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 250.94 million through the exchange of 115.36 million shares.

Arabian Scandinavian Insurance (ASCANA) headed the risers with 4.29%.

Amlak Finance, which led the fallers with 9.93%, registered the highest trading volume of 32.70 million shares.

Emaar Properties, meanwhile, achieved the highest turnover of AED 94.62 million.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.953% to 9,723.55 points.

The trading value stood at AED 1.58 billion after 232.13 million shares were traded. The market cap reached AED 1.83 trillion.

National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) headed the risers with 14.91%, while Fujairah Cement Industries was the top faller with 6.25%.

Aldar Properties generated the highest trading volume of 60.70 million shares, while International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 311.49 million.
