UAE stock markets close Wednesday on negative note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Wednesday's trading session in the red zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down 0.05% to close Wednesday's session at 3,499.79 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 498.77 billion after 218.19 million shares had been exchanged through 6,528 transactions.

Emirates Refreshments Company topped the rising stocks with 14.87%, while Gulf Navigation Holding led the losing stocks with 2.19%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched down 0.20% to settle at 10080.23 points by the end of Wednesday's session.

A total of 413.28 million shares were traded through 12,501 transactions valued at AED 1.66 billion.

Ghitha headed the green zone with 10.34%, while Waha Capital came on top of the red zone with 4.94%.
