UAE stock markets close Wednesday on mixed note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets ended Wednesday’s trading session in a varied performance.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) retreated by 13.80 points (0.40%) to close at 3,382.31 points. A total of 57.98 million shares were traded at a value of AED 303.23 million.

National International Holding Company topped the gainers with 5.59%, while Al Firdous Holding was among the top losers with 6.40%.

Mashreq Bank posted the highest turnover of AED 118.88 million, while Emaar Properties was the most active stock on which 12.35 million shares were exchanged.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.635% to close the session at 9,714.39 points.

The turnover reached AED 1.37 billion through the trading of 197.15 million shares, while the market cap amounted to AED 2.06 trillion.

ADC Acquisition Corporation (ADC) advanced the risers with 3.90%, whereas Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) led the fallers with 5%

International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 374.11 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 48.59 million shares were exchanged.
