UAE stock markets close Wednesday in red

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 9.55 points (0.22%) on Wednesday and ended the trading session at 4,192.29 points.

The trading value stood at AED 737.71 million through the exchange of 386.25 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 165.76 million, while Shuaa Capital was the most active stock with 38.93 million shares.

Aramex led the gainers with 11.76%, whereas Al Firdous Holding headed the losers with 6.19%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.155% to 9,823.84 points.

A total of 180.50 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.03 billion, while the market cap value hit AED 2.84 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 215.15 million, whereas Multiply Group was among the companies dominating the trading volume with 21.75 million shares.

Bank of Sharjah advanced the risers with 14.94%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company was the top faller with 9.48%.
