UAE stock markets close Wednesday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s session at 3,426.59 points after losing 31.41 points (0.90%).

A total of 147.46 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 306.35 million.

Amlak Finance led the fallers with 7.40%, in addition to being the most active stock with 23.45 million traded shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 125.89 million.

Furthermore, Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) headed the risers with 2.31%.

The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also fell by 0.631% to 9,793.48 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.24 billion through the exchange of 189.91 million shares, while the market cap value stood at AED 2.53 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 307.16 million, while Fertiglobe was the most active stock with 40.74 million exchanged shares.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) led the falling companies with 4.42%, while RAK Properties advanced the risers with 8.73%.
