UAE stock markets close Wednesday in green zone

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s session higher by 32.10 points (0.99%) at 3,245.56 points.

The turnover amounted to AED 334.74 million through the trading of 152.23 million shares.

Amlak Finance headed the risers with 7.46%, while Emirates Refreshments led the fallers with 7.01%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value of AED 91.98 million, while DFM was the most active stock on which 23.32 million shares were exchanged.

Similarly, the main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.709% to 8,841.85 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.63 billion through the exchange of 315.74 million shares. The market cap value reached AED 1.67 trillion.

Ghitha Holding, formally known as Zee Stores, was the top riser with 12.55%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAK Poultry) led the fallers with 9.64%.

Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 66.62 million shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest trading value of AED 304.32 million.
