UAE stock markets close Wednesday higher

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday’s trading session at 3,417.01 points after gaining 12.20 points (0.35%).

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 293.83 million through the exchange of 125.06 million shares.

Takaful Emarat – Insurance topped the gainers with 14.79%, whereas Al Firdous Holding led the losers with 7.69%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 135.08 million, while Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) dominated the trading volume with 29.65 million shares.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.055% at 9,924.05 points.

A total of 194.94 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.21 billion, whereas the market cap value stood at AED 2.54 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding Company (RAPCO) advanced the risers with 9.73%, while Aram Group headed the decliners with 9.94%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 259.54 million, whereas Americana Restaurants International was the most active stock on which 30.44 million shares were traded.
