UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Wednesday’s session higher by 70.08 points (2.06%) at 3,467.71 points.
The turnover reached AED 645.64 million through the trading of 187.44 million shares.
Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) topped the risers with 4.71%, while being the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 33.97 million shares at AED 213.56 million.
Takaful Emarat led the fallers with 4.51%.
Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) added 1.668% to end the session at 9,680.07 points.
The turnover stood at AED 2.13 billion through the trading of 291.84 million shares. The market cap value amounted to AED 1.80 trillion.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) advanced the risers with 8.7%, while Palms Sports was the top faller with 2.48%.
Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 67.32 million shares, while First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) generated the largest turnover of AED 675.81 million.
