UAE stock markets close Tuesday with varied performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 2.22 points (0.06%) on Tuesday and ended the trading session at 3,328.68 points.

A total of 101.08 million shares were traded at a value of AED 197.41 million.

Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 34.96 million, whereas Ajman Bank was the most active stock on which 26.23 million shares were exchanged.

Emirates Refreshments topped the risers with 5.76%, while National General Insurance Company (NGI) led the fallers with 9.50%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.31% at 10,264.16 points. The market cap value stood at AED 2.65 trillion.

The turnover amounted to AED 1.17 billion through the exchange of 194.74 million shares.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) advanced the gainers with 7.47%, whereas Gulf Cement Company headed the decliners with 6.90%

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 227.25 million, while Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 25.77 million shares.
