UAE stock markets close Tuesday with mixed note

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session higher by 11.60 points (0.31%) at 3.741.51 points.

The turnover stood at AED 385.10 million through the exchange of 131.52 million shares.

Emaar Properties, which generated the highest turnover of AED 154.57 million, was the most active stock with 24.38 million shares.

Emirates Reem Investments topped the risers with 11.66%, while Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance headed the decliners with 8.42%.

On the other hand, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) retreated by 0.034% at 9,272.62 points.

A total of 158.03 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 884.68 million, while the market cap value hit AED 2.76 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 227.39 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated trading volume with 24.48 million shares.

Palms Sports led the risers with 12.28%, while Abu Dhabi National Takaful Company was the top faller with 9.52%.
