UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Tuesday lower by 32.49 points (1.01%) at 3,170.59 points.
The turnover amounted to AED 259.18 million through the trading of 118.16 million shares.
DFM was the top faller with 3.36%, while Dar Al Takaful headed the risers with 6.78%.
Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value of AED 98.86 million, while Ithmaar Holding was the most active stock on which 27.83 million shares were exchanged.
Meanwhile, the main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.15% to 8,717.29 points.
The turnover stood at AED 1.47 billion through the exchange of 232.59 million shares. The market cap value reached AED 1.63 trillion.
Commercial Bank International topped the risers with 6.73%, while Ghitha Holding, formally known as Zee Stores, was the top faller with 5.82%.
Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 70.41 million shares, while International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest trading value of AED 301.30 million.
