UAE stock markets close Tuesday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday’s trading session lower by 0.54 points (0.01%) at 3,376.52 points.

The turnover totalled AED 365.14 billion after 116.26 million shares were exchanged during the session.

Al Firdous Holding advanced the risers with 14.63%, while National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) was the top faller with 2.50%.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) generated the highest turnover of AED 104.87 million, whereas Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) headed the trading volume with 19.16 million shares.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.139% to 10,040.82 points. The market cap amounted to AED 2.30 trillion.

A total of 300.76 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.48 billion.

National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) topped the gainers with 6.60%, while Abu Dhabi National Company for Building Materials (Bildco) led the decliners with 8.89%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest trading value of AED 298.93 million, whereas Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) was the most active stock on which 73.96 million shares were exchanged.
