UAE stock markets close Thursday with negative performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Thursday's trading session lower by 14.72 points (0.43%) at 3,411.87 points.

A total of 173.25 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 402.01 million.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 205.83 million, in addition to dominating the trading volume with 38.32 million shares.

Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) headed the decliners with 3.90%, whereas Mashreq Bank was the top riser with 5.60%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also went down by 0.429% to 9,751.47 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.33 billion through the exchange of 233.67 million shares, whereas the market cap value amounted to AED 2.52 trillion.

Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) advanced the gainers with 8.36%, while Union Insurance Company led the losers with 10%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 361.98 million, whereas Dana Gas was the most active stock on which 42.86 million shares were traded.
