UAE stock markets close Thursday with collective decline

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) lost 17.53 points (0.51%) on Thursday and ended the trading session at 3,409.52 points.

DFM’s turnover stood at AED 346.80 million through the exchange of 114 million shares.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 111.61 million and was the most active stock with 20.12 million shares.

Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) advanced the gainers with 3.87%, whereas Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development led the losers with 6.45%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the trading session lower by 0.844% to 9,860.18 points.

A total of 169.52 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.14 billion, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.52 trillion.

Aram Group topped the risers with 11.88%, while Emirates Stallions Group (ESG) headed the decliners with 10%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 335.39 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 20.75 million shares.
