UAE stock markets close Thursday's session on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.20% to close Thursday's session at 3,214.60 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 226.747 million after 108.27 million shares had been exchanged through 4,035 transactions.

Emirates Refreshments Co (ERC) led the green zone with 12.71%, while Al Firdous Holding topped the red zone with 9.52%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.658% to settle at 8,426.41 points by the end of Thursday's session.

A total of 170.916 million shares were traded through 6,625 transactions valued at AED 1.35 billion.

The National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah (RAKBANK) came on top of the rising stocks with 6.82%, while the National Bank of Umm Al Qaiwain (NBQ) headed the losing stocks with 9.52%.
