UAE stock markets close Thursday’s session lower

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 74.81 points (1.92%) and closed Thursday’s trading session at 3.808.25 points.

DFM’s turnover reached AED 558.03 million through the exchange of 183.10 million shares.

In addition to posting the highest turnover of AED 264.89 million, Emaar Properties dominated trading volume with 40.16 million shares.

Al Firdous Holdings led the risers with 14.95%, while Tecom Group headed the losers with 9.43%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also ended the session lower by 0.587% at 9,428.35 points.

A total of 170.85 million shares were traded at a value of AED 971.05 million, while the market cap value reached AED 2.79 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 216.74 million, whereas Multiply Group was the most active stock with 27.30 million shares.

Commercial Bank International (CBI) topped the gainers with 14.92%, while Gulf Cement Company headed the decliners with 9.59%.
