UAE – Mubasher: The main index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s trading session higher by 40.96 points (1.19%) at 3,462.65 points.
The trading value reached AED 545.48 million through the exchange of 171.35 million shares.
Ekttitab Holding topped the gainers with 7.48%, while Orascom Construction led the losers with 9.95%.
Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 57.99 million shares exchanged at AED 359.34 million
Similarly, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 0.212% to close the session at 10,039.42 points.
A total of 221.26 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.32 billion. The market cap amounted to AED 2.10 trillion.
Sudatel Telecom Group advanced the risers with 5.30%, whereas National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) headed the fallers with 4.95%.
International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 306.81 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 48.95 million shares were exchanged.
