UAE stock markets close Thursday on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Thursday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) inched up by 0.49% to settle at 3,188.30 points by the end of Thursday's session.

A total of 96.52 million shares were traded through 4,119 transactions valued at AED 266.915 million.

Emirates Investment Bank led the rising stocks with 14.25%, while the Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) topped the losing stocks with 1.09%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index went up 0.179% to close Thursday's session at 8,733.83 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.499 billion after 212.169 million shares had been exchanged through 6,301 transactions.

National Takaful Company (Watania) came on top of the green zone with 13.04%, while Zee Stores headed the red zone with 10%.
