UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Thursday’s session lower by 29.6 points (0.91%) at 3,195.69 points.
The turnover amounted to AED 282.43 million after 137.96 million shares were exchanged, compared to AED 276.4 million and 194.48 million shares in the previous session.
DFM led the fallers with 3%, while Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD) was the top riser with 8.04%.
Emaar Properties generated the highest turnover of AED 63.92 million, while GFH was the most active stock with 30.04 million traded shares.
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange’s (ADX) benchmark index also went down by 0.14% to 8,394.82 points.
The trading value reached AED 1.35 billion through the exchange of 227.82 million shares, compared to AED 1.37 billion and 221.01 million shares a day earlier. The market cap amounted to AED 1.59 trillion.
Abu Dhabi National Takaful topped the fallers with 9.9%, while Ras Al Khaimah Poultry and Feeding (RAK Poultry) headed the risers with 14.61%.
Aldar Properties registered the highest trading value and volume of AED 311.42 million and 76.03 million shares, respectively.
