UAE stock markets close Sunday on positive note

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Sunday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.47% to settle at 2,870.69 points by the end of Sunday's session.

A total of 139.27 million shares were traded through 1,932 transactions valued at AED 174.02 million.

Al Salam Bank - Bahrain headed the rising stocks with 4.6%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index rose by 1.99% to close Sunday's session at 6,706.65 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.61 billion after 226.06 million shares had been exchanged through 4,183 transactions.

The market cap value of the ADX has exceeded AED 1.128 trillion for the first time in its history.

International Holding Company (IHC) topped the green zone with 15%, while Foodco National Foodstuff led the red zone with 9.47%.
