UAE stock markets close Monday with collective rise

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up by 11.16 points (0.33%) on Monday and ended the trading session at 3,340.13 points.

The trading value reached AED 235.07 million after 128.08 million shares were exchanged during the session.

Dar Al Takaful advanced the gainers with 4.58%, while Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) headed the decliners with 1.85%.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 63.50 million, whereas Ajman Bank was the most active stock on which 51.89 million shares were traded.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed the session higher by 0.347% at 10,350.64 points.

A total of 212.20 million shares were exchanged at a value of AED 1.21 billion, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.66 trillion.

Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) topped the risers with 14.63%, whereas Gulf Cement Company led the fallers with 8.33%.

Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 25.63 million shares, while International Holding Company (IHC) witnessed the highest turnover of AED 233.38 million.
