UAE stock markets close Monday's session in green zone

UAE - Mubasher: The UAE stock markets have ended Monday's trading session in the green zone.

The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went up 0.31% to close Monday's trading session at 2,790.3 points.

A total of 89.02 million shares were traded through 2,236 transactions valued at AED 143.38 million.

Dubai National Insurance and Reinsurance (DNIR) led the rising stocks with 14.76%, while Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB) topped the losing stocks with 9.72%.

As for the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), the main index inched up 0.15% to settle at 7,404.32 points by the end of Monday's session.

Turnover amounted to AED 1.43 billion after 389.65 million shares had been exchanged through 6,363 transactions.

Methaq Takaful Insurance Company came on top of the green zone with 5.66%, while Al Qudra Holding headed the red zone with 9.97%.
